Dance Schools for Twynham Sixth Form students

We are extremely proud that three of our Sixth Form students have won places at three of the country’s top dance schools.

Tierney Lawlor won one of only 14 places, nationally, for young dancers at the prestigious Rambert Youth Company. Poppy Johnston has won a place at the Stella Mann College of Performing Arts for their three year degree programme and Chloe Burnley was in the enviable position of holding four offers at the country’s top performing arts colleges, finally choosing the Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts.

These are magnificent achievements and just goes to sNews3how the extremely high quality of dance at Twynham and the dedication of our students. These institutions are the equivalent of the country’s top universities, but for the performing arts, and to win these coveted places is an extremely difficult thing to do. We may well be seeing them on the stage or screen in due course.
